It was my first Drum&Bass event, and I must say, I enjoyed it! Well at first, I only wanted to attend the event because being a good friend I always am, my girlfriend needed her "wing-man" aka ME. So I had no choice but to go with her. The taxi to pyramid cost us a bomb, the entrance ticket cost us another blast, and the drinks were so expensive, it's equivalent to nuclear bomb. I am not kidding, two Vodka (single) RedBull cost us a freaking 9.60GBP! WTF that's like triple the normal price.

But despite the fire alarm that went off 30 minutes after the gig begin, everything was fun fun fun! And without me realising, I actually had fun throughout the massive gig.

Sorry I had no pictures in the gig, cause my friend warned me "No one brings a camera and cam-whore in a drum&bass thing cause everyone is uber cool like that."

Point taken.

Before the gig, for the first time ever, Claire and I were facing a major wardrobe crisis! Cause we had no idea what to wear to a Drum&Bass event! So we practically rang everyone we knew, and asked for their opinion! 

"NO HEELS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BREAK YOUR ANKLE"

"NO PRINCESS-Y LOOK"

"DRESS CASUAL YET COOL"

And this is what I came up with :

Studded tank top + hot pants + flats.

Oh yea, did I mention before? The guys were amazingly hot. Tall, hot and well-built. So much better than the kiddy guys you see during student nightouts. LOL

People. Beach party at 0330am is not fun at all, despite what everyone have been telling you.

Do not trust them, because:

1. Even though it might "look" sunny during the day, it is actually quite cold at the beach. So be prepared to freeze your butt out there.

2. There is no toilet around. It's not a problem for guys, but definitely a major problem for girls. You should understand the difference of male/female anatomy. It's not funny when you have to hold your pee for like 3 hours.

3. Freaks and Drunken pyscho's alert! Within 5 minutes of arriving the beach, been hit on by a 15 years old. I swear he is only 9, not even 15. Pathetic.

If you ever want to go to one, remember to bring your comfy duvet, wear you most comfortable jumper, and bring lots of food and drinks.
